Labster® Collaborates with the Intel® Skills for Innovation program to Drive STEM Education Forward

‍Innovative Science Simulation Starter Pack and Exclusive Educator Webinar Announced

BOSTON, JUNE 10, 2024 — Labster (www.labster.com), the world’s leading edtech platform for virtual labs and interactive science, has unveiled a new collaboration with the Intel® Skills for Innovation (SFI) initiative. Intel® SFI is designed for teachers to provide tools, good practices, community, and examples of the use of new technologies in education. which Intel SFIempowers the next generation of students by integrating advanced education tools and resources essential for closing the knowledge gap through technology and innovation.  

Intel® SFI is introducing the “Labster Starter Packs,” a curated selection of four advanced science simulations meticulously designed to complement the Intel SFI framework. These simulations aim to foster crucial skills for the future scientific workforce, such as critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

“Our goal at Labster is to provide students with engaging and immersive learning experiences that help them build confidence and competence,” said Julian Allen, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Labster. “Sharing our content through Intel®’s Skills for Innovation initiative allows us to reach even more students and empower them with the skills they need to succeed in their lives and future careers.”

Labster created various scaffolding materials to ensure the teacher’s success using the Starter Packs. Each Starter Pack has behind-the-scenes Educator’s Guides, including learning objectives, rubrics, and assessments, as well as Teaching Decks that have the in-class presentation material, suggested activities, and reflection questions to be used in class with students.

Additionally, Labster will be featured at the next Intel SFI Community Webinar on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 11 am ET. Participants will explore the interactive educational content and collaborative opportunities generated through this partnership.
